I am looking for women in Halifax to participate in an ongoing project about 19th century Newfoundland women who worked in the fishery. Pay rate is $20 per hour, with a minimum of 3 hours work. Experience is not necessary.
I am looking for women ages 18 - 70, who have a connection to Newfoundland or are of Irish decent, POC are welcome. Women of every size and ability are encouraged to get in touch.
Work includes sitting for photo sessions indoors and outdoors in period dress (provided). Participants should be comfortable taking direction. Sessions would take place in June and be 3 hours long with a potential for two sessions if required. Pay is $20 per hour with a minimum of 3 hours work. Photos will be used as references for watercolour paintings.
